Regular Line 2014 UK/SK

Regular Line gives the opportunity for artists to work in collaboration together, visit new countries and share new experiences. A highlight was listening and watching Michal Paľko play cymbalo as part of the performance of Tooth for a Tooth a Slovak Opera, composed by Miroslav Tóth. The Cymbalom is a traditional Hungarian instrument played in the Roma Gypsy community.   After many hours of tracking down what seemed like to only Cymbalom in England, we were fortunate enough to have the heavy and treasured instrument transported from London up to Sheffield especially for the performance.
