Back by popular demand! I’m running classes from my studio located in an old cutlery making factory in the heart of Sheffield’s Cultural Industries Quarter. If you’re struggling to find something unique for a loved one for Christmas or just because, then this might be for you?
Learn how to paint a portrait of any person you desire onto canvas with acrylic paint. I will deliver the workshop in a day’s session. Top quality materials will be provided along with refreshments. Due to limited space I can only take bookings of 4 people at a time from 13 years upwards. Come in a group or as you are, all are welcome!
‘Thanks very much for the portrait workshop last week I really enjoyed it, good facilities, good tunes and good company!’
‘I would happily spend every Saturday doing that workshop. It was really empowering. I’ve been to many art courses that have disempowered me. Artists who teach you to paint like them, that there is only one way and from where you leave feeling useless. Yours was quite the opposite. It inspired me to carry on and I left feeling good about what I had produced. Do let me know if you are going to do any more, even the portraiture again. I loved it.’
Celebrating the centenary of Roald Dahl with a gigantic peach!
33 children helped to create a beautiful painting inspired by Roald Dahls’ wonderful book, James and The Giant Peach. I really enjoyed the day at Whirlow Hall Farm Fayer leading this lovely workshop with all of the visitors. The painting is a permanent feature now on display at the farm for all to admire and all of the children (the youngest 2 years the oldest 13 years) should be feeling very proud of themselves for such lovely work.
Please take a look at previous examples of some of the workshops in the gallery below. To book your place on the workshop and to find out any information please contact me and I’ll be happy to help you.
